Korean for General Purpose 200 / KGP 200 (10 weeks/200 hours)
The main program of the Sogang KLEC focuses on improving the ability to communicate. The four hours of class per day is evenly split between listening, reading, writing and speaking.

Korean for Academic Purpose / KAP 200 (10 weeks/200 hours)
This course was created for students who are intending to seek admission to undergraduate or graduate university programs in South Korea.
In comparison to KGP200, this course is designed to facilitate the natural acquisition of the necessary grammar, vocabulary, writing skills, knowledge of Korean culture, and other useful information through the study of academic subjects.
Every class is broken down into an hour of writing, two hours of speaking practice and one hour of reading and listening practice.

This course is designed for students who do not have time to study in the morning or afternoon.
The course particularly reflects the demand of students who are working in Korea or are exchange students; it hence includes language that is frequently used in the workplace and in schools to help these students achieve their goals.
Compared to KGP200 and KAP 200, this course is light, enjoyable, engaging and helpful to students.
The classroom environment is optimized for learning how to speak, as it includes students from a variety of countries and is activity-based.

The University Korean Language Program is designed for foreign students who are either currently enrolled in a Korean university or are planning on applying to a Korean university. This course aims to cultivate the high level of Korean ability necessary for studying at a Korean university by focusing on content related to university life as well as university courses and lectures. Through this course, students will be able to acquire the Korean language skills necessary for preparing to enter a Korean university in a short period of time.

The Advanced Program is organized for students who have graduated from KLI. The students who attend these classes will study all fields of Korea and the Korean language. The course is only offered when 5 or more students register for the course.

The Evening Program is designed for diplomats, professors, businessmen, bankers and anyone who cannot participate in the Regular Program due to their daytime work. The program focuses on enhancing communication proficiency, which is essential for business people living in Korea.
This program is a non-extended visa program, so students who could stay in Korea without KLI’s visa documents could apply for the evening program.

Summer Course Program (5 weeks/100 hours)
The Summer Course Program is designed for students who want to experience Korean culture and learn Korean Language during Summer Vacation. The morning classes focus on enhancing Korean proficiency, then in the afternoon you will be able to immerse yourself in local culture. The culture activities after class includes Korean cooking, pottery, Taekwondo, and K-pop dance. Also, students will visit both historical sites and modern attractions.
